We have to made sure our location is within walking distance of the MRT Zhong Shan as we know that People don't want to worry about navigating an unfamiliar bus or subway system when they first arrive.So when you arrive at Taipei Main Station please call us toll free number 0800-060-468 and we would like to pick up you from Taipei Main Station the East 1 door or MRT ZhongShan Station. We wanted to locate our guest house in a quiet and safe area because we know that peace and quiet is most important things for guests to sleep and safety is an absolute necessity for an enjoyable stay. You are comeing to one of the most exciting shopping and nightlife districts in Taipei with every opportunity to easily and conveniently walk from our guest house too.

Our aim is to help Backpackers travel easily in Taiwan and we strive to be a bastion to budget tourists, business travellers, vacationers, sightseers, students or anyone looking for a warm, friendly and inexpensive environment in our great city. The only thing we ask of any traveller is to leave all your reservations at home and open your mind to Taipei's vast and beautiful culture, food, people and lifestyle. We will do everything within our power to provide you with a great new experience.

Our three buildings offer the most convenient facilities for travellers on a budget.

Though our rooms are small and simple we provide all the amenities needed to make you feel just like your journey is a weekend at home with friends.

The first hostel is located on the 2nd Floor. It has bunk share rooms, two bathrooms, calm and peaceful rooms and air-conditioning for the entire building. We also provide free coffee in the mornings and will try to help you find anything else you need.
(*note that in this location our rooms do not have windows though the common area does*)

The TaiwanMex 2 location is on the 9th Floor, just a minute walk from the first location.
It has Private en-suite Single rooms, three bed private en-suite rooms, four bed private en-suite rooms and six bed mini en-suite house.

The TaiwanMex 2 location is near Exit R4 of Zhong Shan Metro Mall t ,all the room own the Bathroom,TV,AC,Wifi,Privacy.

----Directions from Airport to Taiwanmex Hostel----

1.After you leave the passport check.1. Walk to the left to the bus desk..

2. Choose "KwoKuang Motor Transport Company Ltd" Buy a No.61 bus ticket to the Taipei Main Station. Cost is about 125 Taiwan Dollars or about 4 dollar U.S.

3. You stay on bus till the end or when it stops at the Taipei Main Station.When you arrive at Taipei Main Station please call us toll free number and we will pick up you at MRT Zhongshan Station the Exit 1.

4. Board the Subway ( MRT Red Line ) going to MRT ZhongShan Exit 1.

.5. Leave when you get to the ZhongShan Exit 1. You will see it written in English.

6. Leave the ZhongShan station.at your left side is Taipei Milk King and Look in front of you, there will be a Starbucks Coffee Shop. Look at it, then turn around 180 degrees or opposite and walk the opposite direction of Starbucks.

7. You are now on street NAMED: Lane Nanjing W. Rd (Lane 18 is between the ZhongShan exit one and Taipei Milk King) about 200s foot you can arrive Taiwanmex.

8. The Hostel has a sign in English "Taiwanmex" Number "18-1".

9. Ring bell for at gate, they will answer and ring you in.
